[KOH-bee] An exclusive grade of beef from cattle raised in Kobe, Japan. These pampered cattle are massaged with sake and fed a special diet that includes plentiful amounts of beer. This specialized treatment results in beef that is extraordinarily tender and full-flavored. It also makes the beef extravagantly expensive, which is why it's rarely available in the United States.
Hold your horses! I did not get the Japanese kind, but the American kind.
Cooked it on a skillet .
Added garlic, pepper, salt, ketchup, mustard and soy sauce.
At some point I had to drain the meat in a colander, it is FATTY!
Then I just plopped it back on the skillet and added water and beef
bouillon.
More onion taste.
Served it with veggies and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar on them.
It´s good . Now I want to be massaged with sake and drink lots
of beer ;-D
Those cows must be constantly drunk! :D
ReplyDeleteLovely colorful food, as always :)
My bf would love this dish, he's a MEAT lover!
Thank You Piparipulla! These cow´s have it pretty good...until it´s not so good and they end up in a skillet :-0
ReplyDeleteLet´s not think about that today though, today let`s just have a good day :-)
